Awesome Tip: Running a $200,000,000 Dollar Company and Making NO MONEY | DailyVee 485

Most of you would be shocked by how little I make from VaynerMedia… I’ll make more from one speaking engagement than I will from running my company that does $200,000,000 dollars in revenue a year.

The majority of this video is from a VaynerMentors meeting that I had… You can check out the VaynerMentors program here:

  1. Everyone is so brainwashed by these so called motivational speakers who only make money because you pay them. There is no substance, what did he accomplish to teach others, I just dont get it. Here is the free advice for you. Stop f listening to people like him and create your own life.

  2. Philanthropist – noun

a person who seeks to promote the welfare of others, especially by the generous donation of money to good causes.
    Reverse Engineered Philanthropist – GaryVee
a person who seeks to promote the welfare of others, especially by the generous donation of content, for free.

  3. Thanks for this one G….one of the most succinct and profound messages you've put out, and I love how you only like to speak first on your level and only dumb it down when necessary…you're becoming somewhat of a master or genius…good shit

  4. you're talking about the highest level of success, I'll bet a lot of the people you talk to everyday, your colleagues don't even understand it at the level you do…if they did they wouldn't be working for you, they'd be doing their thing….I expect to own more than the Jets brother….the downside is never feeling fully understood…unless you and I and the other few people in the world that do start hanging out, but that won't happen, so loneliness and the love for what we do will be our destiny…much better than holding hands with a blindfold on…

  5. He doesnt make money….yet hes telling ppl how to make money in business….smdh lol…this is the problem with gary v…hustle hustle and make zero…flop show bro

  6. So fortune 500 CEO's typically make close to 6 figures for a speaking engagement. Say you make $50,000 a speaking engagement and you make $40,000 at VaynerMedia, you are now ahead of a HUGE portion of the population…throw in a few other talks here and there and you are making bank compared to the average Joe you are speaking to. Given that you obviously have equity in VaynerMedia, then its a moot point, because you will have an exit strategy. A company earning $200 mil in revenue will have profits of about $20 mil…napkin math says this would value VaynerMedia at $100 million minimum. So working for 40k while earning 2-3 times that or more speaking for an hour each time while you build a business that could net you 10s or even 100s of millions is not all that bad.

  7. i feel you on the growing man…seriously. i used to be one of those that hated on money and then i thought maybe thats why i wasnt making any. so then i started "loving" money but that still didnt feel good. but now it feels like what i really love is growing things, anythgin from a business to a plant and money is going to be just one of the best tools i have to accelerate my growth. that feels the healthiest. money is just part of the process and something i can grow in the same way i want to grow all the other projects i have my aim set on.

  8. Hey Gary idk if you’ll see & be able to respond to this but I wanted to know your thoughts. When you said you live in a nice apartment it kind of shocked me even tho I know that’s kind of apart of the city culture. What’s your thoughts on renting? I was always told it’s like throwing money down the drain cause you don’t own anything. I see up and down side about both. Best thing about renting would be that you don’t have to pay to get utilities and things like that fixed. But downfall is you can’t always have things how you like, guidelines you have to follow. Owning you have to pay for everything but it’s something you own. So do you really see renting as something that is a waste of money?
