  1. Oh man and holy shitballs, can I relate to this. I'm a freelancing photo and filmmaker and get to do pretty cool stuff, like travel around, meet cool artists etc. which is awesome and fun (although lot of work and hustle behind as always). But so many friends or even strangers on social media comes to me and says I'm "lucky" to found my thing and being good at it and get to do what I do and they wish they want something like it. And when I tell them to go out and try stuff and taste it like you put it, they are like "meeh..idk".

Then I just reply: Then wtf are you sitting here complaining and being jealous for? First of all, I'm not lucky to find what I love. I tried a lot of things and I would keep try until something caught me. Second, I worked hard for it and sacrificed a lot of comfort and shit to make it happen. I've slept on people's floors, doing deals to get a roof over my head for a week, eating crap, working from home (if I had one), on buses, trains, benches. I took boring extra jobs so I could buy gear or travel to make shit happen, I contacted agencies, artists, companies etc. etc.

So I just had the courage to try out a lot of things and not being scared of dropping it if it wasn't for me and find something else. And once I found photo and film, I dared to go for it and replace standard shit like a nice home, some savings, a driver licence, a car, a nice meal out with friends everyday etc. for work and the creativity I wanted.

So next time they tell me how they want it, I'll send them this video and if they are ready to go out and try shit, good! If not, they can shut up and go back to their comfort zone! 😉

  2. Gary I pull so much motivation from you that I began my own podcast. I trust that you believe so much in voice. I don't have any expensive podcast equipment but I feel like I have the value. I learned that from you!

  3. Team Vee – I grab the most recent daily vee every morning for my workout. Not sure it's what you guys are doing or YouTube changing, but I can't find daily vee at all from the gary vee home page because it's so broken out. Even in recent uploads, no dice. Had to go to Gary's twitter. Any tips?

  4. I want to help you get paid as I said before… I typically watch your entire pre-roll so I know you're getting Revenue. But when your pre-roll is longer than your Vlog don't know what to do… how much of this do I need to watch to make sure as a consumer of your content you're getting paid?

  5. This is one of the best so far, took us on a emotional rollercoaster with this one DRock! Heard the lyric on the track in the background great mention. Also Gary…Yes to the shaving your head deal!
